Shouted F#4 in 'Triumph'. D2 and F4 in 'My Name is Mok'. Not sure what to make of 2:26:

Lots of low talk-singing here... dropping to D2 a few times.

Lulu covered quite a bit of low range, Like C2-E4, he strained a lot on the higher stuff though.

I had some actual notes but the word file is on a computer that isn't with me at the moment.

One of the most interesting and innovative artists of the 60s and beyond. Rest in Peace.

RIP Lou, just for that comment. For real, though, his death totally surprised me. A very great artist back in his prime.

A2s and G2s in Walk on the Wild Side :O

Eb2s and C#2s all over this one. (edit): I think it goes lower than that at times

Weird-sounding lows in the backing vocals. They get more prominent in about 2:00. The key of the song would suggest like C2s but my ear's not 100% accurate. Not sure if they're even Reed, because there are 2 backing vocalists credited on the album. They kinda sound like him to me though  Thinking

The only Albums I've ever listened to in regard to Lou Reed were ''The Velvet Underground and Nico'' and ''Transformer''. I say go for it! Very Happy

Yeah, I can finally say I enjoy that first album. Took me a looooooooooong time to get into it, though.

Strangely enough, I first heard it when I was 14 and didn't like it all that much. But, I revisited it a few months back and now I regard it as a great album!

I believe there are D4s and F4s in this, haven't pitched to confirm. It's a sexy version of one of the songs on the first album. I'd also like to add that I'll take this thread if OP doesn't want it.

Is it just me or there's a couple of F2's and G2's on that tune?

I'm not hearing that F4 in I'm Waiting for the Man. At least not on the original. Maybe it was referring to a live version? The studio version doesnt even leave the 2nd and 3rd octave.

Not sure why it's not listed as live, but it's the live version that comes with the deluxe edition of their third album. It's actually linked a couple posts up.
