Definite low tenor on the lows but then his highs around G4-D5 are just the lightest and easiest things ever. So I don't really wanna bother. He's a tenor, deal with it.

Also, most of these notes are really old from when I started notewatching so there will be some mistakes in there.

I love Jonas, I really do, but as much as I love him, I seriusly hate his over-using of falsetto on live performances. His high full notes are amazing! I don't know why he doesn't use them more often. And another thing that seriously piss me off, is when he uses vocal playback in some songs (sometimes he does it in "The Zookeper's Boy").

Anyway, I think that maybe you should add something of his solo album and with Apparatjik (I didn't listened to them too much myself, so I'm not in position to say whatever  Laughing ).

If I'm wrong somewhere, please correct me:

I think that is a D5 in 3:50, but I'm not sure if it's full or falsetto (I believe in me)

Backup vocals in the chorus (0:41), tops at E5 I think (Ever could)

An B4 in Introducing Palace Players (4:06) (Why did you go?)

In the chorus (0:23), first a C5 and after a C5# (Are you? My lady are you?)

I think it's a C#5 in the backing vocals in the ending (2:15) ("How do we take")

And I think that there's a C5 in the Mew song "Beach".

And one last thing, from what I've heard of Mew, Jonas has a tendency to make backing vocals one octave higher than the lead vocals, so I think that after I'm gonna investigate more of that too.

Cheers!

Really dig this guy's vocals and Mew as a band overall. His voice kind of reminds me of that of a leggiero tenor with baritonish lows though he never sings high enough to the leggiero money notes.
