I agree, but I totally did not expect him to be talking as low as he was.

Jag's first band.

The old days of Wires and the Concept of Breathing.

ASD's new single "Fallen",call me crazy but I think Jag's voice was been lowering since "Wires" Eh he hasn't hit anything significantly as high as his old stuff in "Fallen" and on "Identity on Fire" his voice sounds lower he's not singing as high as he used to and his tone seems even different in there new single. Eh

Could just be a stylistic choice.

Indeed it could be that too,it would be weird if he's 28 and his voice is lowering.

New Stuff

Post  HighWee on Mon Sep 23, 2013 1:07 pm

I just listened to one of ASD's new tracks. I wanted to add "Just Stay"'s A4, I know its not ultra significant but it just sound's so good. I also hear an F5 on the harmony of the ending of the song, but I'm not sure if it is Jag.

Is it just me, or does he sing this higher than he did on the album?

He doesn't really sing higher live, he just has a lighter timbre live. And is much more nasally, I personally like it but others don't, give or take. And as far as the Countertenor change xD No Idea, that would of been passable for the first 2 albums, but yeah not now.

Ok, that makes sense.

Also, does anyone know what note this is (2:48ish)? It definitely sounds like Jag, but I can't figure out what it is.

In the Rise: Ascension he sings clean during Brian's old screams before he left. In Pendulum (Acoustic) he sings pretty low, maybe a B2 or an A2, but he does in fact have a significantly lower range.

And also the reason his voice is getting "lower" is because he is drinking and smoking which is ruining his vocal chords. He also screams too but that's not very often but he still screams every once in a while which is screwing up his tambr in the studio.

I don't believe that's true especially if you listen to the new song they just released https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIcxBq588-w

Hah, I found these guys' first album in a free bin at a record store.
After initially thinking this guy was kinda like a higher Vic Fuentes, I couldn't help but notice he had a tone uncannily similar to Geddy Lee.

I know, kind of a silly thing to necro this thread over but I find it amusing.
