I always thought of him as closer in style to Coverdale or Cornell except higher and a bit more flamboyant maybe? Great singer anyways.

What would you guys say about the blackness of the 6th octave notes? He slides up to them in a kind of black sounding way but the quality of the notes almost has a whistle type of to it to me. Additionally how about that D2 from Sailin'? Sounds kinda whispery.

Sixth octave notes seem like super thin black. And yeah, I think the D2 is legit; just kinda quiet and not that impressive.

Pretty sick A5 (I think?) at 0:19, but I'm assuming it's Michael Anthony again. And I think he goes a little higher with some yelps at the end of the song?

Lots of strong D5s here. Plus some awesome E5s in the bridge section @ 2:48

I believe that the rock and roll performance was 1986, not 87'

Not sure about the C6, but the C♯6 in "Turnin' Left" is a backing vocal that is obviously Michael Anthony.
