0:45 for Africa, not heard the other one. He hits some C#5s towards the end too but doesn't do the studio E5 Sad

This guy is such a good/interesting singer!! Shame notewatching him would be a nightmare with all the guy singers in Toto

The other B2s are from this little duet between Bobby Kimball and Glenn Hughes:

1:07, 1:35 - not too impressive and pretty short, too

Interesting to see those two MTs doing the high parts in direct comparison (Glenn: 3:17 | Bobby: 3:30)

Came across this.

Bobby Kimball guests on this song and hits some good highs including an amazing D5 at 2:04. I was listening to this and trying to place the other voice, sounded so familiar, but couldn't figure out who it was at first.  Laughing

That's a very good find.
Really powerful note, indeed.
I added it.

It's weird to hear Bobby singing with that much grit to his voice. Cool as hell.

Yeah, he's always been a great singer with Toto, but I particularly like his guest appearance on that song. Might revisit some of his work now, or check out some of the stuff I've never heard.

Some gay guy linked me to this today

Nice A5 scream at the start and plenty of really nice E5's throughout (especially 2:08)
Though I'm not a dedicated enough fan of Toto to tell if that's actually Bobby singing, apparantely they were going through some lineup changes around this time

I think the scream is actually G5. No idea if that's him, I don't really know this guy's voice.

what the actual fuck

Had to be quoted here... How can such a virtuosic singer suddenly degrade into these drunken karaoke singer levels? It's one of the most baffling things I've heard in a while. I don't see how his peculiar self-repeating ramblings regarding voice doctors and the lack of monitors completely explains all of this either because he seriously sounds sooooooo OFF.. Like, totally lacking the singing ability demonstrated a lot of times in the past.

Under the tour in 2007 with Toto he started to use autotune, so around then his voice was worn out.

In 2008 he was on stage singing Hold The Line togther with Joseph Willaims and he sang it so much better then Kimball. Must have been an hard time for Kimball to see Joeseph do a better job with his own song. Just listend in 1:05 when Williams hit the note perfectly...

By the way, why are the no thread for Joseph Williams? He has a strong voice with a very unique sound?
