Ryutaro Arimura is the frontman for Japanese alt-rock group Plastic Tree, who are one of the most intriguing features of the visual-kei scene. Taking their major influence from The Cure and Radiohead and combining their own unique stylings with shoegaze and noise rock elements, Plastic Tree really are an oddball in an already oddball scene. Arimura's vocals are no exception, often described as having a childlike voice (sounding something like the lovechild of Thom Yorke and Bilinda Butcher), Arimura has both a surprisingly strong upper register (which he can switch from sleepy to raw with ease) and a deceptively resonant lower register, though he generally very rarely gets adventurous with either.

Italics: Non-melodic notes
Blue: Falsetto
Green: Harsh or distorted notes
Underlined: Notes obscured in backing vocals and harmonies

Will probably remove the E3 section. Another one that's been sitting on my computer forever.
