I did backingvocals on a proper (soon to be) Published song!

Post  bradphone on Thu Feb 18, 2016 10:19 am

The lead vocals are from a good friend of mine who produces for others and the stuff that i did on the song are:
-Backingvocals.
-Harmonies.
-Adlibs
-Synths (chords, pads, stabs, leads)

It's not done yet, it's going to be a bit longer (It's only around 2,5 mins long even though the MP3 runs for 6) And there is going to be some more processing going on for the lead vocals/backingvocals and it's going to be more slick sounding.

I would love to get some feedback (even though it's just me doing all the backing/harmonies and not the lead stuff)

(The lead singer is pretty good, he's a baritone from what i can hear and i really love his timbre)

Your parts sound really funky:)
As for lead singer, he's very off-pitch during the whole song. Recording engineer should have insisted on him going home and recording his takes on another day. If I'd receive such off-pitch multitracks, I'd not even bother mixing the stuff until vocals are re-recorded.

Change the url in original post btw, because everyone can delete if he wants, you posted your personal link there.
