Finntune's singing thread

Post  Finntune on Mon Jan 25, 2016 7:28 am

A new member here, but thought I'd do this anyway. That's a clip of me singing the first verse and the chorus of Time by Tom Waits. Kept the guitar pretty sparse in order to fully focus on singing (just kidding, I can't play anything that slow and with that tempo).

Anyway, I would really appreciate any feedback on my voice and singing!

Dat baritone voice, you have a journey ahead of you bro, just like all of us.

What a great voice. Hefty baritone timbre and such a sweet tone. Fantastic.

Can I request this song? Your voice sounds really similar to his. Drops down to F2 a few times so that might be a challenge.

Lately I've been on a baritone hype since I can't sing any decent mids, I envy anybody who can.

Yes, the timbre is really nice.

Working on pronunciation and strenght of facial muscles will do.

Thank you guys for the kind words, really made my day! Been away now, but I'll upload more clips as soon as I'll get back to a recording-friendly environment. I'll work on pronunciation and strenght of facial muscles, just need to find out what the latter means exactly. (On my phone now so it's difficult to quote.)
