Dirty falsetto deserves to be locked in those brackets where it belongs

Hey I thought Maynard sang G1s or something on "Queen B"

Hi

I thought The pot had some C5s, not B4?
Also, C5s in forty six and two

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tja6_h4lT6A

from 5:17-5:22

There's also a pretty awesome C5 in the patient at 5:42

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xk8YCmJMuE

I also thought the songs Wings for marie pt. 1 and 2 should be mentioned here, for the exceptionally low singing for maynards standards. He hits tons of A2s and G2s in the songs and he has a weak, but creepy F#2 at 2:56

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Frd9tjA1qCs

last but not least. One day I listened Lateralus with my headphones on and I couldve sworn he sings a backing vocal in the verses, an octave below the lead voice, so bottoming at D2. Could someone confirm or deny that for me?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDlC7oG_2W4

I'm talking about the "as below so above" part at 2:04

Sorry for the long posts, just some findings from back in the day when I used to listen a lot of tool. Didnt know about this site for too long:)

<3 this guy, his chest voice is insanely powerful. The scream from The Grudge is pure madness!

He gets B4's at the end of 3 Libras ("you don't SEE me"), guess it doesn't really matter since he has D5 but there ya go.

EDIT: Then there's this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkpRb0Uc_Oo

In fact, just listen to the whole album. Pretty much every song has lows. Trekka is another one.

Seems a bit overkill.

Also, the song is called Momma Sed Sad Anyway, have some notes:

Bb4 ("Hooker With A Penis", "Sober")
A4 ("H.", "Hooker With A Penis", "Jimmy", "Stinkfist", "Third Eye", "Right In Two", "Swamp Song")

Intention has like...A2/G2? 10,000 Days has A2s at least.

No idea how I forgot this, but he gets a series of VERY powerful B4's at the end of the ode to his own penis, "Maynard's Dick". You have to add it to the OP, come on the guy's belting powerful upper 4th octave notes about his own dick for god's sake, I'd say that's significant

go to youtube and look up tool best screams. I'm not gonna bother with these long videos, but somebody should watch them. I'm sure some of the screams get above D5.

B4's in the chorus of Parabola, I was surprised that it isn't marked yet...

Shocked That was actually pretty incredible. Although I do have to wonder what the point was.
