I'm not going to lie, I was listening to BSSM recently and thought it actually sounded full. I hated on that note's fullness forever.

There is seriously nothing fryish about the G1. Us calling it fry was just TRP1 being...TRP1. Facepalm

Those G1s are probably the most unpredictable and "WTF? How is this possible?" notes I've ever heard. Did he record those lows in the morning while being on heroin?!?! :S

Still doesn't top McCartney's A1 or Lou Gramm's G♯1.

Yeah, also Geddy Lee seems to have a surprinsingly good low register for a High Tenor.

He can get pretty low for one, but his notes down there aren't particularly good.

Yeah, I was already guessing that. I said "seems to have" 'cause I never actually heard his lows Laughing

And I never would if expected first octave notes from him :O that's surprising as hell

He effectively has a 4 octave range... Holy shit I never expected that from him either. Cool voice though, the cover if Stevie wonders higher ground is brilliant

1. He has spanned 4 octaves of pitch during his career, but that's not saying a lot. Kiedis' vocal range isn't almost 2 octaves either, as his voice is weak and he has problems singing his E4-G4 live. Hardly an actual "4 octave singer", not even close. Honestly, John Frusciante has a stronger voice than he does. Hell, almost anybody does.

John fruiscante (I can't spell it properly) is my favourite singer from the chilli peppers actually, his falsetto is great.

And I know dude all I meant to say was that its impressive that he got that low

And high. I suppose his usable range is probably around 2.5 octaves even that but even still, I'm
Amazed with those G1s I never would of bought he could do that

Yes, his lower register is great. Much better than his high range.

his high range isn't THAT bad though, in the case he actually hits an A4 it sounds decent I reckon

Well, most of the time, but lately his voice has really been off. Sounds super weak and thin already after the first passaggio.

Ill admit most of his decent highs are from 89 - 92 era songs, not too many recent ones sound good really

(In case the timestamp didn't work, 2:27) A bunch of A2s, G2s and an F2 or two... the lowest bit seems to reach E2/Eb2 in an off-key way.
