Because it says FALSETTO...
Almost all of his powerful 5th octave notes are indeed his falsetto!

I'm mostly gone from this forum, but no they are not.  His 5th-octave notes are almost entirely head voice, and that's the why he's the metal god.  Now, go repent for thy sins, boy.  You're very lucky Halford hasn't used his electric eye on you as he's hot rocking.  Because let me tell you now, sinner!  You've got another thing coming!  A touch of evil from the metal god that is Rob Halford.  Just when you think it is safe he will head voice a C#6 into your ear turning you into the sentinel. Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil
Yep, I told you guys that... Just in case someone didn't  know, falsetto and head voice mean the same thing.

Yes I know, I've already been corrected a week ago and I am aware of the difference now... Quit making me look stupid...Cringe
Anyway, Matt Bellamy has one of my favorite falsettos I've ever heard.

Matt Bellamy is a rare case of a singer who is praised in today's mainstream, but completely ignored in most forums and other places dedicated to singers and their abilities. He does (or did) indeed have an amazing falsetto. Not to mention consistent.

Yeah, there is no WAY Bellamy's falsetto is just average. He has a crazy amount of sustain and control with it, and can do a lot of stuff with it that other vocalists wouldn't dare attempt.

kek perhaps I exaggerated a bit, mainly cause I was fucking up with sippe, but yeah I didn't really like it. It sounds slightly too whiny, harsh and strident, IMO. I prefer my Dustin. and I'd rather judge a falsetto more by its quality than the duration of it

and demi for how long will you be so salty baby ma baby

Personally, I think his head voice is better than his falsetto. (She's Gone, Livin' For My Lord, etc.)

There is nothing extraordinary in singing on false folds without any mass, with zero character, on comfortable positions. It doesn't require control, it's not hard to sustain.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same singer here...
