Steve Terreberry

Post  Krzysztof Raymond Howe II on Sun Mar 01, 2015 4:45 am

Voice Type: Dexter Holland
Sung Vocal Range: F2-A5
Total Vocal Range: E2-A5

For being mostly a guitarist, he's got a pretty ridiculous range with effortless lower 5th octave belting as well as some surprisingly solid lows. However, due to the sporadic nature of his posting and his focus on guitar videos, he doesn't have much sung material. That'll hopefully change for his album coming out soon.

High Notes:

  • A5 - ("Power Rangers Metal")
  • G♯5- ("How To Be Power Metal")
  • G5 - ("Power Rangers Metal")
  • F♯5- ("Can't Take Your Bitching")
  • F5 - ("Beast and the Harlot Fast", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Metalcore Vox Demonstration", "Michael Jackson-Core", "Power Rangers Metal")
  • E5 - ("Bohemian Rhapsody", "Can't Take Your Bitching", "Disco Metal", "Ghostbusters Djent", "Metalcore Vox Demonstration", "Power Rangers Metal")
  • E♭5- ("How to be Black Metal", "I Make Funny Face (When I Go Poo)")
  • D5 - ("Beast and the Harlot Fast", "Britney Spears-Core", "Bipolar Metal", "Disco Metal", "Metalcore Song", "Pee Wee-Core", "Power Rangers Metal")
  • C♯5- ("Can't Take Your Bitching", "Metalcore Song", "Your Average Pop Star")
  • C5 - ("Bipolar Metal", "How to be Black Metal", "MY GIRLFRIEND BROKE MY HEART", "Online Lover", "Power Rangers Metal", "Soundin' All Poppy", "White Veil Grooms")
  • B4 - ("Beast and the Harlot Fast", "Bipolar Metal", "Burning Sunlight Everlasting", "Disco Metal", "Ghostbusters Djent", "If You Leave Me Now", "MY GIRLFRIEND BROKE MY HEART", "Online Lover", "Power Rangers Metal", "Soundin' All Poppy", "Walk", "Your Average Pop Star")
  • B♭4- ("All Alone... No One to Bone", "Have I Told You Lately", "I Make Funny Face (When I Go Poo)", "White Veil Grooms")
  • A4 - ("A Night to Forget", "Disco Metal', "Ghostbusters Djent", "Is This Crabs?", "Metalcore Song", "Online Lover", "Penetrate the Shear", "Power Rangers Metal", "The Wiggles Metalcore", "White Veil Grooms", "Your Average Pop Star")
  • G♯4- ("All Alone... No One to Bone", "Beast and the Harlot Fast", "Burning Sunlight Everlasting", "Gangsta Djent", "Shave Your Damn Facial Hair", "Your Average Pop Star")
  • G4 - ("A Night to Forget", "Bipolar Metal", "Emotionless in White", "Gangsta Djent", "Metalcore Song", "Never Gonna Give You Up", "Online Lover", "Penetrate the Shear", "Power Rangers Metal", "Please Brush Your Teeth", "White Veil Grooms", "You've Let Yourself Go")

Low Notes:

  • E3 - ("Online Lover", "The Wiggles Metalcore", "White Veil Grooms")
  • E♭3- ("All Alone... No One to Bone", "If I Saw You in a Thong")

From the two singles he released he already got a minor 3rd increase in his range (thank you Emotionless in White Dance )

Really well controlled falsetto at 10:04, starting with a quick Eb5 and then a longer C5 with a ton of vibrato. Sustained shrill, shriek at 5:26 too. I think that one tops at G#5, but it goes all over the place.

Damn that's a lot of good notes Surprised G2-F#5 span on that. I just put in placeholder names for each of the songs since I don't know a lot of them

Dark, double-tracked lows bottoming out D3 and some very impressive chesty singing around A4 and even topping at a C5. The more I hear of his voice I think he's a baritenor. Very comfortable singing chest highs in the upper 4th octave but a pretty heavy timbre in his lower register.

G#2 at 4:07, sustained falsetto G#5 at 4:20, chesty B4 at 8:11. Probably his best guitar solo yet too.
