The lead singer of the legendary British heavy metal band Saxon. He's often been compared to Bon Scott due to his fairly light and slightly nasal approach to singing, but due to the nature of his band's music he also has a soaring metal flavor to his delivery at times. He's barely deteriorated at all over the years, with his voice deepening but still demonstrating the ability to wail like a boss.

Man, didn't know he had a thread. I love Byford. He tried to make Heavy Metal a religion in the UK. Bless...
Aren't there pretty solid B4s in "Wheels of Steel"?

Also, he sounds more like Noddy Holder from Slade than Bon Scott imo. Similar tenorish but gruff sound, and piss easy highs.
