I listened to Alter Bridge's discography again and found all the spots in all the songs where he does vocals as well as for the Creed album "Full Circle"; but I didn't get around to pitching them as I've just been busy trying to get a foundation to work on and possibly for others to help if they wouldn't mind doing so? I don't know how much people would have to be invested in singers to help or to even bother; but any help would be greatly appreciated as always  Smile

He sings lead vocals in the chorus on the song My Own Prison. Scott does the vocalizations and Mark sings "So I held my head up high.."

I believe that Waters Rising is a must in best vocal performances.
1:47 a pretty good E4, 2:20 an F#4,
and I believe that at 0:42 there is a backing melody that sounds like Mark. I think it is a B then Bb and then an G#, but there are three voices there two of them are at C5 the lead one is obviously Myles, the second one that is in C5 could be Mark but I am not sure, and the third one is the Melody that I told you, it sounds like it is in the 4th octave and it is chest mixed with falsetto, but perhaps the C5 makes it sound higher than what it actually is and it could be a mixed B3.

At 0:40 an E3, at 0:44 an F4/F#4, then in That an F4, at 0:54 F#4.
At 1:29 an Eb3 At 1:57 a G#4 in the backing vocals.

Now see if those are E3s and Eb3s for Mark; I don't see that as being part of his lower register. He sounds low around D3 but I would like a second opinion on whether to count the Eb3/E3 section for Mark.
And are you sure that's a G#4? I think it might sound higher due to Myles's vocals playing at the exact same time in the mix.

Thanks for the E4 and F#4; At 0:42 I think Marks are in the foreground; and then both him and Myles share backing vocals, too. But whether they're 4th or mixed 3rd octave I cannot say. If you compare the backings there to his A4s in the two creed songs; the A4s sound higher to me to be honest; so I think the backings only go as high as G4/G#4. And his backing vocals in that section sound low to me; Is there anything there? 1:49-1:53 (Well don't you see it now) in the backings. And the backings in the chorus, too; 2:11-2:39

Are there anything significant in these videos?

"Another Heart"
https://youtu.be/YmoMjMl_Jxw?t=3m55s
'FIND' F4?

"Flying Monkeys" live Machine Shop April 2015
https://youtu.be/UqGr-SuG3BY?t=3m10s
The bridge seems like it has high notes all over it until 3:30

"Cauterize" live Starland Ballroom May 2015
https://youtu.be/vy6kR_ea14M?t=2m23s
The bridge in this one as well seems like the notes he hits are noteable but it's hard to tell.

Hey guys. I just found this interview where Mark says that Ron Anderson informed him that his voice is a tenor. Thought it was quite interesting, given how deep his voice seems. Mark also talks a bit about working to be a better singer.

Interesting, perhaps his voice is naturally a tenor but he never developed a good mixed or head voice. So he always sings in chest and when he tries to get up top he tries to do it with weight without mixing his voice and that's why he struggles. But still for me his timbre is one of a baritone.

Yeah I would agree. I found the interview interesting as well because he talks a bit about his struggle to push his voice and that he really only learned how to do things after using it live all the time and that some things just can't be taught.

"Overcome" backing vocals
https://youtu.be/ShBiBub-_UE?t=2m17s
"OVERCOME!" and "OVERCOME!" again a second time a few seconds later. G4s?

Also; could someone please take this thread and the Myles Kennedy thread over already?! They need decent homes and this doesn't do them justice!

His new record "Dust" came out yesterday! If anyone wants to take a look at it and see if there's any high notes in there, that'd be great! Or y'know...Just take this thread all together!

In the new song My last mistake, he tops at G#4 during the chorus. Also there is an harmonizing Bb4 in the backup vocal at the same moment, it sounds like him IMO. Anyway he hit a strong Bb4 at the end of the song in the lead vocal.

Bb4 in the song The Cage too. Also heard B4's backing vocals during the verse and the chorus and  a C#5 in the backind vocals just before the chorus, I don't know if this is him.

A4's in Once Dead. C5 in the backing vocals during the chorus, still don't know if this is him.

G4 and A4's in Betray Me, C5 in the backing vocals too, but I think all those backing vocal high notes are Eric Friedman anyway.

G#4 in Tore my heart out in the lead vocal.
G#4 too in Catching Fire.
G#4 again in Never Wrong. C#3 and B2 in the backing vocal during the chorus I believe, sounds like it's him.
A4' in Rising storm
C#3 and G#4 In Unable to see

By the way I think the A4's in Dust can be added.

It was most of teh high harmony around C5 during some of the chorus. But since that during live performance, the guitarist sing those effortleslly and his voice seems to be the same than the one on the recording, I'm now sure than those high harmony aren't Mark.
