Well known Canadian singer and Much Music personality... has a hell of a voice, bright tenor with an apparent mid-2000's emo/hardcore sound to it, but don't let that be considered a detriment to his voice as he's very versatile and his band can produce sometimes great, and sometimes very clever music. A shame that he probably will be most known in the States for helping to write "Call Me Maybe".(possibly the only time he'll get to attend the Grammy's is for this)

Just some insane stuff in this. Has a lot going on: beautiful falsetto, 5th octave belts, operatic multi-tracked lows and highs, Grohl-esque harsh screams...  Great songs.

I'm constantly impressed by this singer. He can be a bit inconsistent but when you look at the notes he's hitting, a few mistakes don't seem so bad. I had the pleasure of seeing Marianas Trench live 2 years ago and they were awesome. Great energy and great vocals. I'm very excited to hear their new album.

The new album Astoria is incredible to listen to so I decided to note watch it. The lower harmonies were hard because they all have multiple layers but I know Ian sings most of the ones around C3 and under. It was hard finding anything particularly low that was clearly sung by Josh but I gave it my best try. I've probably missed heaps but its a start

Good find, this thread probably needs updating, it's missing heaps from that whole album and previous ones too

B♭4s and killer fucking C♯5s from "Ever After" - it starts very falsetto-heavy / mixed-voice heavy and then transitions into some powerful shit around 1:30, and then at 2:00 it starts getting awesome.
