But it's in the same phrase Confused If you want to count it, though, I guess it's OK.

I know what you mean and I know it seems like I do that in every thread, but I think if a note is good, what's the harm in adding it regardless?

I didn't realize that was frowned upon Surprised but I guess it makes sense to only use the "stand out" notes. To avoid clutter.

Also Starman, you must have a great ear! I never heard an A5 in "Try" and it was one of my favorite songs on the album. Timestamp?

Hey thanks! I have my moments, sometimes I muck it all up though xD

The ''Try'' A5s sound like part of a D chord harmony to me, I think I hear a mix of a D5, F#5 and I think she sneaks an A5 in there somewhere in the chorus around 2.50 onwards in the song. I could be wrong though, I feel like that's what she was going for when she was making the backing harmony part.

Has anyone gone through her newer stuff with Dallas Green, called You + Me? Completely different style. Like it a lot more.

The A5 doesn't exist, I was just very stupidly hearing it because it fits the chord, I did take it out though.

At 0:46, do I hear backing vocals topping at G5 in the background, or is that not even a voice? I'm not quite sure...
