Definitely the most common singer of the actors on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and quite possibly one of the highest male voices I've ever heard. The dude freaking speaks in the fifth octave half the time, sometimes getting as high as G5 and G♯5, and he doesn't seem to have to raise his larynx whatsoever to get up to the A4-B♭4 area. His range as a whole is super solid and consistent...hell, if we had heard his A5s back on TRP1, I bet we would've even called them "full" then. You'd also think that a guy with such a goddamn high voice would have next to low lows, but he sings some pretty strong jazzy C3s in "Paddy's Pub", then even hits a short B♭2 in Mac Is a Serial Killer while singing the Law and Order theme. Judging by how many notes I was able to find by him, I'm sure there are other singing clips by him that I missed, so be sure to fill me in on anything that's missing.

Honestly, the current high register layout is a tad confusing.

I'm not sure, it's just not easy on the eye for some reason... Maybe it's just me, though. Let's hear what others have to say about it.

It's all backwards and wrong.  Sad

Highest notes go at the top IMO; makes sense to me that way.

I started doing it last year when I realized that if you start with the most extreme notes first, you get guys like Russell Allen, whose entire bottom octave of range is nothing but non-sung notes. I thought it didn't look good to be emphasizing those as the first part of his low range that we should give attention to, so I reversed it in order to focus on stronger, more melodic notes primarily and then eventually scroll down to those other ones.

It seems like you guys aren't bothered by me doing that with the lows, though, so idk. Are you just getting OCD over the idea of highs going up and lows going down?

If you look at the more recent pages done, I always list the highest notes at the top. Even with the lows, I put the lowest notes at the bottom.
This is how I've always preferred to do it, but people used to switch it around so the lows start with the lowest at the top. Razz

It's refreshing to see threads for actors with only sung notes(along with JGL)  Mmm

Also The easiest A4s, B4s and C5s I've ever heard any man ever produce. also a D5 at one stage. Seriously A4 seems to be within his speaking voice range. Crazy!

Started watching this. WOW! It's so funny!

Noticed he actually gets a strong sung B♭2 in Season 2 episode 7 when he sings ''The good lord is going DOWN on me''
