Sorry for posting my clips so late, but I was without the internet lately.  TMI

Most depressing vocals:

Agnete M. Kirkevaag with her truly sad vocals from "The Grinding Silence".

Best vibrato:

Anneke van Giersbergen is known for her pretty controlled use of vibrato; this fragment from live version of "New Moon, Different Day" is a great example. Those transitions between B4 and C5!

Most depressing vocals: Peter Hammill - Still Life

5:15-6:45
(I recommend starting at 4:47 to experience the sudden change of mood, which is quite amazing).

This is a sad song by Peter (or rather his band).
As he's known for his cheerful, and not at all depressing tunes, this might come in as a little bit of a surprise (or not).
It's quite difficult to chose a song by Hammill, as most of them are depressing. Really depressing.
"Still Life" works best if you listen to it as a whole, but this snippet should do it, too (I hope).

Best vibrato: Glenn Hughes - A Whiter Shade of Pale (live)

2:28-4:20

I decided to include some context, as it's still under 2 minutes total. Not too long to sit through.
Most relevant part is that incredible note at 3:06.
Fantastic control over his vibrato, even when he slides down - no breaks whatsoever.
Then subtle some subtle vibrato on the next verses. He ends the performance with a nice relaxed vibrato at 4:05.
And it's all live.

Vibrato

Anneke- Very good vibrato, great tone and control 4/5
Hughes- I can't say I liked his tone that much, but a great clip for vibrato nonetheless 4/5

Best Vibrato
Anneke: Very nice 4/5
Hughes: I'm not really sure why you chose this clip, since it showcases the same vibrato that he uses very often, but in a way that is more jumbled and harder to hear. The couple parts where I could actually hear him using his vibrato clearly were good, but you could've (and should've imo) used literally anything else that didn't involve a 30-piece choir. 3/5

Depressing Vocals
Kirkevaag: Good dark singing for a female, with something of a droning aspect. Fits the category well as far as I'm concered. Nice highs at the end, too. 4/5
Hamill: This is to some people's liking, but doesn't really do much for me I'm afraid to say. I see where the depressing-ness is coming from though. That probably doesn't make any sense. 3.5/5

Best Vibrato

Hughes: pretty awesome, not a fan of his timbre but it's a great performance, nailed the highs 4.5

Depressing Vocals

Hamill: quiet weird singing, not sure if depressing but sorta sleepy 2.5

Best Vibrato:
Rune/Anneke - It started off a bit shaky, but it got better, and the vibrato was, I must say, very nice. Excellent choice. 4/5
Monocus/Hughes - A couple of vibrato-unrelated comments here; I hate his covers of this song, they're always far too wanky for my taste (I love Glenn, and the original song, but combining them does nothing for me), and the brunette in the front row of the choir had a lovely rack.
Anyway, the vibrato on the sustained falsetto note was great, and how he slid down, like you said, without breaking the vibrato, was awesome. It was just a shame that some of it was so damn hard to hear, like Sherick said. But, all in all, it was great. 4.5/5

Most Depressing Vocals:
Rune/Kirkvaag - Very nice... er, I mean, sad... You know what I meant... 4/5
Monocus/Hammill -

Um, what? Hammill's music has always been rather weird and depressing to me, which was the appeal of his style of singing and the music. Very good choice though. A very lament-like performance, I really get the feeling that Hammill is in pain or mourning, and it is quite effective. 4.5/5

Vibrato
Anneke van Giersbergen - Subtle, controlled, smooth, I really liked it. Difficult not to like her, I love her. 4.5/5
Glenn Hughes - Very controlled and techincal, a great performance, despite me not liking the tone of his voice very much. 4/5

Depressing Vocals
Agnete M. Kirkevaag - Nice, quiet and melancholy, but does not reach the state of depression for me. 3.5/5
Peter Hammill - Pretty much the same of what I said about the above... 3.5/5

Best Vibrato:

Giersbergen: Lovely singing and vibrato by her as usual. 4/5
Hughes: I don't like the singing here in general, but the vibrato is great. 4/5

No depressing vox rating, because the category is being nullified. An announcement about that will be made.
