It's pretty interesting to notice the change in his voice over the course of ten years, considering his high notes in something like Rotten Child, while full voice, feel a bit more strained as opposed to the C6 in Malcolm, Dust 'em or the B5 at the end of The Parting. It does seem that his participation in The Template ended with I Thought I Turned the World, But it Turned On Me

this guy has a great voice - thanks to T for introducing him to me.  incredible talent!

however, it's really not that high, let's not get ahead of ourselves just because he can sing well and hit notes. ;-)

He has a lot of deeper stuff as well. A MINDBLOWING voice, his technique and soulful delivery are just... Wow.

A very strong D2 from Malcom, Dust 'em, alongside F2s and F#2s

Some pretty high notes, as typical for Michael Mills. Great pissed off scream at 14:36 and a very funny passage at 18:51. Absurd scream at 19:10. Also, you get a good glimpse of his technique.

The two big screams are both B5s.  Surprised

Ray showed me a spoken B♭1 by him from some song a few months back; I'll try digging it up for you guys when I get the chance.

Quite a few B5s. Also a C♯6 just before 20:00.

He hit a very strong E2 in a live cover of Iron Maiden's Sign of the Cross that Maxim linked me.

Notable low singing here throughout the whole song! He is hitting a very low, but quite whispery note after 0:12 at "too hot, too greedy".

At 3:28, can anybody get that note that Mills slides up to in the background? I heard it primarily on the right side, but I have no idea what it is.

Might be a good idea to focus on the lead vocals and audible harmonies of the new album first, since no one seems to have done that.

According to his twitter account, he is a fan of Kiske, who has had a big influence on him as a singer!

I think that crazy note in 'What Kind of Creature Am I?' is around a E♭6... Still, that's fucking nuts.
EDIT: Nevermind, just saw the comments.

We need to convince Ray to come back so he can remake this crappy thread. Cringe I don't even listen to much of Michael's music, but just from a glance I can already spot a ton of things wrong with the OP.
