Best Low Singing

It's a risk but I'm gonna go with Jungle Fever-Stevie Wonder
0.18-0.32

Best Vocal Climax

I'm gonna go with Jeff Buckley's Mojo Pin live at Glastonbury.

Best vocal climax

I'm going with Jeff Scott Soto's intense high note fiasco during the outro of Don't Turn Around.

2:46-3:50

Best low singing

This is probably the most classic Dan Swano low passage, showcasing his gothic timbre down there quite well and eventually getting down to a solid D2.

ICUP

Stevie Wonder- 2/5, not cause the singing was bad or anything but they really didn't sound too resonant and were not so clear.
Jeff Buckley- 4/5, some badass singing, really great climax to a great performance

Whackooyzero

Soto- 3/5, I didn't find this super exciting or climactic but there was a fairly cool gradation of high notes rising so not bad
Dan Swano- 4/5, really solid dark lows cool shit bro

stev wond - i couldnt even hear anything i'd classify as impressive lows 1/5

jeff buck - noice 5/5 sounded better than the live in chicago version

soto- disagree slightly with bigbro, thought it was a decent rangewanky climax just not as sexy as jeffs 3.5/5

swandan - controlled and everything just lame sounding to my ears 2.5/5

Best Low Singing:

Starman/Wonder - 1/5 Not even sure if the really low parts of the harmonies are him, but the parts that I knew were Stevie were not impressive. Sorry.
Whackooyero/Swano - 4.5/5 Oh man, were these great. Dark and Steele-esque, the low passages were fantastic, and Swano teased us at points, going low, but not down to the D2, at first, but then dips down there at the end. Oh man, awesome.

Best Vocal Climax:

Starman/J. Buckley - 4/5 A bit disappointed by that, I was expecting to give out a perfect.  Wink  But it's Jeff, and his performances are always awesome. Great climax, very energetic and powerful.
Whackooyzero/Soto - 3/5 This was okay. I was expecting a longer climax, but it only kicked into gear in the last 30 seconds or so. Great sustained notes, and a pretty good performance.

Low Singing
Wonder: Is that even him? Not bad, even though it is hopelessly buried in vocal harmonies. 2/5
Swano: Nice, strong and dramatic. 4.5/5

Climactic Singing
Buckley: Maybe the best version of this song I've heard. Lots of energy put into this, classic Buckley snarl. 3.5/5
Soto: Pleasant, very well controlled belting. Tasteful even. 4/5

Wonder - 2/5 (Is that him singing?)
Swano - 3/5

Not too big on the song, I prefer the Stevie Wonder tune, but Swano does have a good low range.

Soto - 4/5
Buckley - 4/5

they are both pretty great here, I prefer Buckley's performance though Soto's is very impressive.

Best Low Singing

Starman - Stevie Wonder: This wasn't particularly interesting. It's a nice vocal but the lows (if they are him) are a bit too buried to be a focal point, but otherwise nice. 2/5

Whackooyzero - Dan Swano: Those were some strong, controlled lows! They may not be the most spine-tingling, but they were effective. 4/5

Best Vocal Climax

Starman - Jeff Buckley: This was a very strong performance! I have heard more refined vocals from him, of course, but that was certainly a chilling climax! 5/5

Whackooyzero - Jeff Scott Soto: Nice controlled belting and vocal slides! Very tasteful! 4/5

Best Lows

Starman - 2.5 he sounds weird singing there, it's interesting.
Whackooyero - 3.5 pretty good still lacks that spark that can make it really shine.

Best Vocal Climax:

Starman- 3.5 A lot of power there, mainly at the last part, didn't impressed me that much though.
Whackooyzero - 3.5 Meh, i mean there were cool hyper high stuff but lacks the "compactness" of a great rock climax.

Best Low Singing:

Wonder: The lows decent, but very hard to hear, so I'm not a fan of the choice of clip. 2.5/5
Swano: Very cool lows, nothing insane though. 4/5

Best Vocal Climax:

Buckley: I prefer the Chicago live version, but this is still great. 3.5/5
Soto: Impressive singing, but it's kinda wanky. 3.5/5

Best Low Singing:

Wonder: Great singing, but not too audible a clip for a category like this one. 2/5
Swano: Danny-boy has such a great tone to his lower register. I found this a great demonstration of his singing, but am a bigger fan of his singing on tracks like "It All Ends Here" where he gets a tad huskier sound going. 4/5

Best Vocal Climax:

Buckley: Amazing gig, amazing performance. Jeff always injects his soul into the music while staying impressive and true to his nature. Not just great singing, but also impressively good guitar playing (and songwriting). The climax here is different from your typical build-up, but I can feel the emotional intensity, just like with pretty much all of Jeff's music. 5/5
Soto: Is it just me or does this song give very notable Def Leppard vibes? Soto sounds like Joe Elliott on adrenaline, amazing singing. Not a fan of the music, sadly, which is probably why I haven't gotten myself too acquainted with the rest of Jeff's discography, but man, that voice. 4/5

Starman - (Stevie Wonder Low Singing)
3/5 - Wierd. Still takes effort to do that if your him.

Starman - (Jeff Buckley Vocal Climax)
4/5 - Nice sustained notes!

Whackyoozero - Climax
4/5 Epic!

Whackyoozero - Low Singing
3.5/5 Short but still impressive

compare both executors:

-a social rapper
-a power metal/pop/heavy stuff singer

there are some radical differences when rating their stuff.

Facepalm Just no. The term 'climax' means the same in music, whether you're a "social rapper" or a goldsmith.
