Using my Beatles brothers on this one. While Robert Plant is an excellent candidate for a vocal climax, I'll save him for next week.

Best Low Singing (John Lennon): http://picosong.com/YBJJ/
My first submission is John's low vocal on a Christmas Record the Beatles did together in 1963. Although all the Beatles sing in this recording, John's voice is the most prominent and you should have no trouble distinguishing it. He sings multiple C♯2's and tops at a D3 or two.

Best Vocal Climax (Paul McCartney): http://picosong.com/YBEH/
I'm settling here, just because I don't have the patience to search discographies for the rest of my evening. I'm sharing a segment in 'Wild Life' that showcases some of Paul's fifth-octave singing; he never attempted the same 'run' in live recordings from what I've heard (and I've heard a lot of them, mind you). Mainly pay attention to the first 25 seconds and the last 15, because I can't segment two clips together or anything. Be kind <3

Best Low Singing:

Shikkaku/Kyo - 2/5 I wouldn't really say these are lows, but more soft vocals.
Holsety/Lennon - 3.5/5 This clip is similar to the Cobain clip that Donuts posted, but the lows are much stronger. Surprisingly strong for the guy who usually lightened his voice with the Beatles. They get a bit whispery at times, but pretty good.

Best Vocal Climax:

Shikkaku/Jose - 4/5 Pretty emotive singing, but very powerful highs that sound like he's giving it his all, which is what matters. Excellent vocal climax.
Holsety/Macca - 3.5/5 Disappointed in this. The beginning starts off well, but then he seems to give up and just yell. Macca is great at his vocal climaxes, but that one was probably not the best choice. Pretty good though, so I can't give it too low a score.

Best Low Singing:

Kyo: Quite a cool vocal tone, delivered in the typical Asian low-larynx style, but it fits this case. Kyo's lower register isn't particularly strong here, but it suits the song's atmosphere well so screw that. 3,5/5
Lennon: Heh, sounds like a Russian choir bass. Typical Lennon humour combined with a funny instance of deep singing. Tie. 3,5/5

Best Vocal Climax:

Andrea: Not really my favourite vocal timbre, but an interesting approach to the song, plus some great higher wailing. Might not be my style, but suits the criteria, so... 4/5
McCartney: I LOVE this song and the vocal take on it. Macca's particularly fooling around, while sometimes ascending for those Plant-like high wails. Suitably deranged singing for an amazing deranged song like this one. 4,5/5

Kyo (Low Singing)
3.5/5 Soothing tenor tone

Jose Andrea (Climax)
3/5 Nice power. I don't like his tone however

Lennon (Low Singing)
4/5 Nice to hear a fellow british person singing a very fine festive song

McCartney (Climax)
1.5/5 Always hated this part of the song, but I can't deny his vocal talent

Kyo (4/5): The phrasing is interesting with some strange intervallic leaps. His tone is good, and dark while not harsh. Good dynamic control.
John Lennon (1.5/5): Strong but very 'Goofy' sounding and unrepresentative of John's vocal style and stellar ear for melody.

Jose Andrea (4.5/5): Highly emotive, great dynamic arc and control.
Paul McCartney (2.5/5): I can hear the Plant resemblance in that initial pattern and it's impressive. I don't feel a sense of climax as he fails to develop on it.

Best Low Singing

Kyo: Good stuff, but not quite low enough to get any higher than this. 3.5/5
Lennon: Strong lows, but I'm not a fan of the sound. 3/5

Best Vocal Climax

Andrea: Impressive and tasteful singing, but the tone brings it down for me. 4/5
Macca: Very cool clip, albeit a bit awkward in the beginning. 4.5/5

Kaka - not very low but it at least sounds good 2.5/5
Lemon - i think this is actually worse than the cobain clip, even if it dips lower it sounds like something one of the forum members would post 0/5

jose the magician- hate his whiny tone but i can't deny the climactic power 4/5
Maccademia - this is a classic tune for me, though i can see how it's not that impressive to some people 5/5 FUCK DA HATAAHS

Best low singing:
Kyo - I assume this is prolly some of his best singing down there w/o resorting to growls as it's not really that low, his tone is nice and warm tho. 2.5/5
Lennon - Definitely forcing it altho some of it seems pretty strong, not much else to say. 3/5

Best vocal climax:
Jose - Not too huge on the tone myself, yet some pretty good highs that get pretty climactic towards the end. 3.5/5
Macca - Starts off very good altho the highs near the end are a bit weaker, still pretty good for this category. 3.5/5

-Best low singing:

Kyo- Nice soothing and warm low singing by Mr. Kyo. Not really strong or deep sounding at all, but it was enjoyable. 3/5

John Lennon- Not really a very good tone and you can tell that's totally out of his comfort zone, but the lows he nails are impressive and so is the tone and consistency he has down there. The lo-fi doesn't really help much, though. 3/5

Guess that's a tie between tastefulness/style and good projection/deepness

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Best vocal climax:

José Andrea- Though Jever knows this band puts some bad thoughs on my mind, that was some very passionate, intense and technically proficient singing. Really creates the mood for the song, and I really dig the high at the end (crazy O.o). 4.5/5

Paul McCartney- Talking about crazy highs, damn. Not as strong and more heady, but still fucking impressive. About the climax itself, I didn't find it as enjoyable as the other. as the vocals and instrumentation don't really create much of a mood to me. Very nice though. 4/5

Low Singing
Kyo: Nice tone down there. The lows might be light but I still liked it. 3.5/5
Lennon: Sorta forced? I guess it'd sound cooler if it was in a more suitable range. 2.5/5

Vocal Climax
Jose: Hey, I thought this was pretty cool. Nice and powerful. 3.5/5
Macca: Oh, this was great. Lots of power there, pretty emotional delivery too. 4.5/5
