Queen - Save Me

Post  bradphone on Thu Feb 13, 2014 5:10 am

The first Chorus is done with drums and piano ánd a few harmonies.
The last Chorus is done without drums and without the hamonies, only a piano sound.

Think i`m improving lately, my stamina is getting better (I`m working out since a few days) So maybe that improves my breath control and therefor my pitch...

I was about to write something pretty positive until I got to 2:30 which ruined it all for me.

Pretty interesting take on this. This is like a "soul" version of the song (your phrasing reminds me of soul singers).

2:30 was a bit out of place (although the note itself was good), but apart from that--I like this version!

Yeah Sorry about that note, i wanted something to get the song to an end with was not the standard "D Chord > Done " So i thought that i should put a high D up on it.

It was kinda out of place indeed, but i thought it sounded pretty decent..

Thanks, at first i wanted to let a friend of mine sing it, she`s a massive Queen fan, but she said that she didn`t like the harmonies on it, and the instrumentation, so she didn`t want to do it.. So i decided to do it myse.f

2:30 made me think of Rob Halford. I don't know if that's a compliment to you or not
