I Shot The Sherrif - Eric Clapton.

I transposed it from Gminor to Bminor ( 4 semitones )  So i wouldn`t struggle in the verses Smile
I even added a guitar solo Smile

I listened to it, and i really dont know what you mean..
I did some fills troughout the song, but i never used any effects on the drums.
Only some Delay/Overdrive on the guitar, and some Eq/Comp/Reverb on the voice.

It was pretty nice, I like the tone of your voice and your pitch was spot on, except for that "deputyyy" at 0:49, that went a little off and it's pretty noticeable, but overall, nice cover man!  Thumb up

Thanks Smile I had some slight issues with the pitching indeed, but i think that stuff like Auto-Tune and Melodyne is cheating (I sometimes use it for guitar tuning, or one note that is nicely phrased but a bit pitchy)

I don't know what it is about every cover you make, but they all sound so contrived and forced. Nothing really sounds natural.

I dont know man...
I do sometimes have a song in my head that i want to record, and i make a note of that on the computer like for instance "Tonight - Record Wrecking Ball"
But still, i dont have any clue in terms of key, instrument usage, arrangement. Thats all done on the spot..

I`m not rehearsing stuff Smile It all comes natural, the only thing that i tend to do is to figure out where i could (For example) place a nice 2nd harmony, or.. a nice drumfill. But its not that i think in terms of " Ahh, the song is going to be Trance oriented, tempo 140bpm, key F#minor " That all comes on the spot.

I really like to improvise with arrangements, and musical stuff. I dont like rehearsing.

(When i play in a band, i never ever look at sheet music, or never ever study the keyboardist his patterns, i always listen and try to find a way to adapt my own style to the song structure)
