David Hasselhoff (Yes... Really)

Post  bradphone on Sat Jan 25, 2014 4:56 am

David Hasselhoff

Total Range: G2 - G♯5
Sung Range G2 - E♭5
Voice Type: Tenor.

Significant High Notes:
G♯5 ("Night Rocker")
E♭5 ("Crazy On A Saturday")
C5 ("Our First Night Together")
B4 ("Do You Love Me", "No Way To Be In Love")
B♭4 ("Crazy On A Saturday", "Do You Love Me")
A4 ("Our First Night Together", "No Way To Be In Love", "Looking For Freedom")
G4 ("Any Kind Of Love At All", "No Words For Love", "Lonely Is The Night", "Looking For Freedom")
F♯4 ("Crazy On A Saturday", "Do You Love Me", "Dance D`Amour", "Everybody", "Do The Limbo Dance" )
F4 ("Our First Night Together", "No Way To Be In Love", "Highway To Your Heart", "Dance D`Amour", "Lonely Is The Night")
E4 ("Night Rocker", "Our First Night Together", "All The Right Moves", "No Words For Love", "Highway To Your Heart")

Significant Low Notes:
D3 ("Night Rocker", "All The Right Moves", "Let It Be Me")
C3 ("No Words For Love", "Lonely Is The Night")
G2 ("These Lovin Eyes")

I actually like his voice, its not a great one, but his timbre is pretty good and i like his singing style.
He doesn`t seem to have a lot vibrato control in some songs its all over the place, but apart from that his songs are pretty catchy and the album "Night Rocker" Is actually a pretty decent album.
To be honest i didn`t know what to think of his voice, he stays away from upper 2nd octave notes, but his G2 in "These Lovin Eyes" sounds very strong, but he doesn`t sound like a regular baritone on the G4s and A4s...(Its not a very deep/bassy voice)

It is possible to resize AND keep the aspect ratio.

But the thread is nice.

Sustained A4 at 3:00. The musical score for Jekyll/Hyde goes down to G#2 but the Hoff tends to half-sing the lowest notes.

Really good B4s and surprisingly good wailed D5s at 3:05! Also good vibrato and, well, actually a really good performance overall. He must've had some training....
