Magali Luyten

Looks like it's up to me to make a thread for this amazing vocalist.
Magali is by far one of my favorite singers, because aside from having an incredibly powerful upper range, she has great control over her entire vocal range, and knows when to use it and when not to. With performances ranging from brutal to beautiful, she is definitely a vocalist worth studying, despite the lack of attention her bands have received in the past. Here are a few significant high and low notes recorded.

Significant Highs -

 • F♯5  -"Frightening Lanes"
 • F♯5 3:27 -"im real"
 • D♯5 1:56 - "this is not the original dream"
 • D5 3:10 - "Ride the comet"
 • D5 - "lost"
 • C♯5 1:25 - "The Dominion Gate [part III] (nightmare)"
 • A♯4  2:45 - "take me home"

Significant Lows:

 • B2 2:15 "closer to my heart"
 • F2 "the spark of ignition"

Blue = non modal / harsh vocal
So far I have B2 - F♯5

Umm could you try to use the same general thread format as the other OPs? The way you have it now it's a bit hard to read properly. Also we generally use ♯ and ♭ as opposed to # and b.

Great singer for sure though, I could help out here and there if you're cool with that.

Go ahead, but I would like to make the video, haha. I'm actually laying it out in a weird way because of how I plan on putting the video together.
But actually, I need every note possible to find between B2 and F#5. So I have written down all of the middle octave notes as well, but did not include them.

You can lay it out however you want on your own accord (word document or something) but we do have a certain set of rules for how the organization should go for the OP.

If you want to include timestamps you can just use this set up: *insert song title*. But it's easier if you have it something like

High notes:
D5 ("Song 1", "Song 2")
C5 ("Song 2", Song 3")

Low notes:
B2 ("Song 1")
A2 ("Song 2")

And so forth. Also we tend to have a picture of the singer above the notes as you may have noticed. Also she has C5s, D5s, and an E5 in the Ayreon song Ride the Comet.

Does she also have a grounded personality?
