Mike Pinder was the long-time keyboardist and occasional lead singer for The Moody Blues. While more famous for his mellotron playing, Pinder had particularly nice singing voice, which sounded at times very similar to Rick Wright's, especially in "Have You Heard". Pinder also read almost all of the poems in Moody Blues songs, such as "The Dream" and the poem at the end of "Nights in White Satin".

Here's some examples of his poem reading in the Moodies' songs:
"Late Lament" (from the end of "Nights in White Satin")

Bottoms around D2

"Morning Glory" (from the track "The Day Begins")

Starts around 3:42. Not sure where it bottoms at.

"The Dream" (part of the "Have You Heard" suite from On The Threshold of a Dream)

It's the first 50 seconds or so. There's a C2 at 13 seconds, and apparently an A1 at 53 seconds. Opinions on that?

I posted these to show that Pinder's spoken lows are not just casually spoken, but done in a more dramatic way, so they're not like interview notes or anything. Plus his speaking voice is gorgeous. Mmm

What a gorgeous speaking voice, indeed. Coverdale-like rich and warm qualities to it.
