Matt Bomer

Post  B6 on Sun Mar 03, 2013 11:03 am

Current status: UNFINISHED

Voice type: Tenor
Sung range: B♭2-C5

Significant high notes:

  • C5 ("Somebody That I Used To Know")
  • B♭4 ("Somebody That I Used To Know")
  • G♯4 ("Somebody That I Used To Know")

Significant low notes:

  • C3 ("Somebody That I Used To Know", "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing")
  • B2 ("It Only Takes A Moment")
  • B♭2 ("Love Is A Many Splendored Thing")

What a shame Bomer doesn't have more singing performances, he sounds pretty great! The significant ones I found:
"Somebody That I Used To Know"
"Love Is A Many Splendored Thing"
"It Only Takes a Moment"

.......................................................
*Orange marks notes with questionable registers: absolutely no use figuring out these.
*Blue marks probable non-modal notes.
*Red marks extremely bad, unimpressive or unintentional notes.
*Italics mark non-sung notes.

I would at least go High placed LT
He gets piss easy highs in a majority of Glee songs spanning the 4th/5th octave

Darren is a typical Broadway Tenor not too high or too low but rather manlier than other Tenors. I went to listen carefully most of singing and yeah MT with a rather manlier darker timbre.

That's the one!
To his credit, whether you like Glee or not
there is no doubting the rawness of that performance
Fantastic singing.
Probably the only true talent in the show

There is another guy who was in Glee for the 1st season called Jesse
Played by Jonathan Groff
He was most definitely a MT
and Had the really easy full voice G5 belts

check this out

Awesome B2s, B4s, D5s and E5s here.

B4s and even an E♭5 connecting to an E5.
